You my friend, left out a very important aspect of your move to N.C. JERKFACE!!!! This is what it should have read. “While I have been in North Carolina, discovering my freedom, I have met the most beautifully amazing, so down to earth, and hilarious best friend anyone could ask for! Will completes the romance part of me. Patricia completes everything else! ” I hate making edits to people’s work but this one was a necessity.

I say get the haircut. Just tell the boyfriend first so it’s not some horrible surprise.

The hair will grow back, and above-the-shoulders is really not that drastic. Plus you seem to feel like your hair expresses a lot about who you are, and halting your self-expression for someone else is a surefire path to resentment.

We are glad that you are here in NC. I agree time seems to go so quickly and then at times seems to crawl. Two years does not seem possible, I so miss my son… and yet life goes on and HIS GRACE IS ENOUGH. I am so happy for you and Will. Nikki’s comments about Dan’l and wild at heart blessed me. We are greatful that our sons are blessed by great friendships. We luv ya!

HAHA!!! I love your writing Dana! I could picture you as I read that throwing your feet backward & then forward again to regain the sitting upright position. Happy Birthday Dan’l
I just came in from watching a swim meet that Maddie and Ada were in. I spent much of the day with and Heather and the kids. When I got home Joe said there is a birthday card on the counter and I said it must be from Dana and he smiled and said yes. Thank you again for the way you touched Dan’ls life and the lives of the Dooley’s. We are so happy for you and hubby and so glad he is helping you process all these emotions. Even though the pain is so real, I am so glad God didn’t make us robots. Love you
