Okay, so no one in my family is big or fat, but my family in general is HUGE compared to most. Or maybe it’s not that huge and it only seems that way because we’re closer-knit than a lot of people are with their extended family. Half my family is SOUTHERN while the other half is LDS (Latter Day Saints or Morman).
Let’s start with my Dad’s side of the family. He is one of three kids and both his parents are deceased:

My dad (Charles) has 4 kids, 3 grands, and 2 great-grands. Neither he or any of his direct family are LDS:
Charles (wife Lorainne) – daughter Kristen – her daughter Emily

Betty has 3 kids and about 10 or 11 grands. One of her sons and his family are LDS:

Kurt (married) – don’t know his children’s names, but there are 3 or 4 of them.
Steve (married)- don’t know his children’s names, but there are 5 of them.
Larry (wife Ardis) has 7 kids (all of which are LDS except Ben), 23 grands, and about 7 great-grands:
Terri (deceased) – daughter Jill – 2 children
Vivian (husband Tracy) – daughter Jennifer (married) - 2 children

Pam (husband Paul) – daughter Heather (married) - 1 or 2 children

Then there’s the family that’s kind of not family. I’m very close to my Aunt LaVonne’s(mom’s sister) in-laws. Her husband’s (Holcome) brother is Jim and his wife is Rose. I call them “Aunt” and “Uncle”. They have two sons (Jamie and Jason) which I consider cousins.
Her husband also has cousins that I see a couple times a year. I won’t involve you with how they’re all related, but I just call them distant cousins even though there’s absolutely no relation.
There’s also my church family and family friends I’ve known for the past 20-something years or so that are as much family as the people I’m related to.
