A lot of people believe Saturday is the ‘true sabbath’ . . . which would make it the 7th day, but that’s of no importance – it would just make it super cool:
The number 7 in Scriptures represents perfection, completion, and fullness. I just think it’s awesome that we’re at the date 7/7/07 . . .
It would be super awesome if this was our Day of Atonement or the day we’re finally free from sin as believers. (A whole theology I believe, but the majority of people – especially in ‘the church’ – don’t buy into).
Jesus’ ministry on this earth was only 3 and 1/2 years which is incomplete. He still has 3 and 1/2 years of ministry here – He can only do that through His people.
Long story short- Jesus is coming in a people first before actually returning. This means He will be manifest in our spirit and we’ll still have our personality, but free from our flesh and soulish man. YIPPEE!
However, not everyone will attain to this, but only His bride. (not the entire church is His bride)
We are on the cusp of this happening and I don’t dare say or predict the Lord’s coming, but most theologans believe it is near and I concur.
He says a day is as 1000 years. He was risen on the 3rd day. Give or take a few years, it’s been 2000 years since His death which means we are in the beginning of the third day. . . He will return in this millenium.
Anywho- I’m excited!!
I appreciate your willingness to hold to a belief that you recognize much of the church community does not hold to. It shows you are deepening as a person. In my journeys, I have discovered that many people in the Christian faith do not really understand what they believe, but simply look at Christianity as a lifestyle. Some understand their faith in great detail, but know it in their heads and not in their heart, while others embrace it in their hearts. It’s all part of being a family. Glad to see you have your thinking cap on, while being excited about your thoughts as well.
